Makassartoday.com, Makassar – Kepala Dinas Kesehatan (Dinkes) Kota Makassar mengimbau untuk melakukan pencegahan stunting sejak awal demi terwujudnya program Makassar Zero Stunting 2024.

Makassar Zero Stunting 2024 merupakan salah satu program prioritas yang tengah dijalankan oleh Pemerintah Kota Makassar. Program ini dipimpin langsung oleh Wakil Walikota Makassar, Fatmawati Rusdi.

Saat ini, kota Makassar berada di posisi kedua angka stunting terendah se-Sulawesi Selatan dengan persentase 18,04%, dan memiliki target penurunan mulai dari 4,4% hingga 0% di tahun 2024.

Kepala Dinkes Makassar, Nursaidah Sirajuddin mengatakan sudah sangat banyak upaya yang dilakukan untuk mendukung program ini salah satunya Grebek Stunting.

“Pemerintah kota pada dasarnya kegiatan-kegiatan atau hal-hal yang akan dilakukan itu terkait bagaimana Makassar Zero Stunting itu sudah sangat-sangat banyak dilakukan,” ungkapnya, Sabtu (6/7/2024).

“Terbukti ibu wakil wali kota selaku ketua percepatan penurunan stunting di Makassar setiap hari Sabtu itu melakukan Grebek Stunting di Puskesmas,” sambungnya.
