Danny Pomanto dan KAHMI Makassar Nobar Film Biografi Lafran Pane

Makassartoday.com, Makassar – Majelis Daerah (MD) Koprs Alumni Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (KAHMI) Kota Makassar dan Wali Kota Makassar, Moh Ramdhan Pomanto menggelar nonton bareng atau Nobar film Lafran Pane.
Nobar film sosok pendiri organisasi Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (HMI) dihelat di Bioskop CGV, Mall Panakukang, Senin (1/7/2024).
Suasana berlangsung khidmat dan para penonton menyimak dengan seksama. Mereka dibawa pada nuansa ketika seorang Lafran Pane mula-mula mendirikan HMI.
Danny dan penonton pun larut dalam film berdurasi sejam lebih itu. Wali kota dua periode ini juga mengapresiasi sosok Lafran Pane yang kini menghasilkan kader-kader HMI yang berkualitas.
Secara garis besar film ini mengisahkan saat Lafran Pane, pria kelahiran Padang Sidempuan, 5 Februari 1922 ini, merasakan perubahan sikap pada banyak mahasiswa Islam di Yogyakarta.
Mereka yang condong ke arah sekuler, menggerakkan hati Lafran muda untuk mendirikan HMI sebagai wadah perjuangan mahasiswa Islam.
“Film ini sangat menginspirasi. Saya harap generasi muda menyempatkan waktu menonton film ini agar merasakan dan melanjutkan perjuangan Lafran Pane,” ucap Danny usai nobar malam tadi.
