Makassartoday.com, Makassar – Jelang hari Natal 2024 dan Tahun Baru 2025 (Nataru), Basarnas Makassar melaksanakan Siaga SAR Khusus dengan meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan personil dan Alut di beberapa titik di daerah Sulawesi Selatan (Sulsel). Pelaksanaan Siaga SAR Khusus ini dilaksanakan serempak di seluruh Kantor SAR di Indonesia.

Kepala Kantor Basarnas, Makassar Muh Arif Anwar, memimpin apel pembukaan Siaga SAR Khusus yang diikuti seluruh petugas Siaga, Selasa (17/12/2024).

Siaga SAR Khusus Nataru dilaksanakan selama 20 hari, mulai 17 Desember 2024 hingga 5 Januari 2025.

“Puncak arus mudik Natal diperkirakan pada 23 sampai 24 Desember 2024 dan puncak arus balik tanggal 25 sampai 26 Desember 2024,” ungkap Muh Arif Anwar.

Muh Arif Anwar mengatakan agar personel tetap harus menjaga safety dan menjalankan prosedur sesuai dengan aturan yang berlaku. Menjaga sinergitas dengan instansi terkait dalam rangka memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman pada perayaan Nataru.

Pada apel Siaga Nataru kali ini juga dilaksanakan pengecekan kesiapan personel dan peralatan SAR. Peralatan yang digelar antara lain peralatan pertolongan di air seperti alat selam dan perahu karet.

“Peralatan mountaineering untuk pertolongan dan evakuasi di gunung dan medan ketinggian. Juga tak kalah pentingnya adalah peralatan extrikasi, yakni peralatan yang dipakai untuk pertolongan di reruntuhan sampai ke kecelakaan lalu lintas,” pungkasnya.
